The bloggers (thanks goodness there’s Angie and Joey around! lol) had a special experience at Recognize Studios @ Orchard Central learning jazz and kpop dances for the full 2 hours. Plenty of fun and laughter with the amiable and patient teacher and our awkward robotic movements.

I must say… either I can’t dance to save my life or their dance standards are extremely high. Maybe both. Hahaha!

A review from Tracy (student of the studio):
“It was fun and totally gave me adrenaline rushes all the time. I must say that the standard of Recognize Studios was very high.”

NU’EST Showkase 2 @ Singapore

Some time ago, I won a pair of Cat B tickets to NU’EST (pronounced as “new east”) Showkase 2 at St James Power Station from Cathay Cineleisure (THANK YOU AGAIN!). At first I was quite surprised on my win since I have no idea who they are at first but thank goodness, NU’EST didn’t disappoint me. A pretty underrated rookie group as compared to EXO and et cetra but I love them especially after watching their pre-debut videos and then their live performances that day!

Organized by KPOP Gaga, unielement and many more sponsors.

The boys! Minhyun, Ren, JR, Baekho and Aron (left to right) with DJ Ken from UFM100.3

The fans that day were so crazy and I was so shocked that many of them called the boys “oppa (elder brother/boyfriend in korean)” because they are so young! All of them were born in 1995 except for Aron (1993). O_O” I feel so old, damn.

Their live is not too bad actually, love their natural interaction with the fans. But my goodness, Singaporeans and their smart phones…

I wonder if any of us really listen and enjoy to their performances, since everyone was just taking photos and recording throughout the event.

Aww, Baek Ho!!! Your smile is so cute. <3

^-^

As usual, Gangnam style is everywhere. Check out NU’EST dancing to it! Hahaha, Ren is really into it!

As KPOP grows stronger and stronger, there are more and more groups coming to Singapore for promotions. Popular groups like Big Bang, 2NE1, SM Town and etc have been holding successful concerts within these 2 months too. I just wonder who is up next. Hopefully, no more trouble from the fans.

Heard that some members of NU’EST were questioned in police station before flying back to Korea because of the congestion of fans at the airport. (source) Fans, chill man! Hahaha.

Anyway, NU’EST hwaiting!
