[Food] Hyang-To-Gol Buffet

Yay! I love Korean Barbeque! Yay for Sue who invited me and thanks to Noel, we get to eat it at a better price too. Wahahaha.

Funny that after the dinner, I got to know they actually thought I was pissed with them or something which is obviously not true. I am so nice lor *flips hair* HAHAHAHAHA. I just tend to stone a lot after meals. You know that kind of feeling where you just want to carry your full stomach and go to sleep? Which is why I didn’t talk much too.

So anyway, the food was great but I wouldn’t call it Korean Charcoal Barbeque if we could not cook the bulgogi on our own. I love the BULGOGI they cooked!!! SO JUICY AND YUMMY! Oh, and they have sushi and some Chinese cuisine too (sounds international huh?). <3

Most importantly, YOU HAVE TO BOOK SEATS BEFORE GOING or else be prepared to sit outdoors (not that it is a bad thing because the view is great) eat and be eaten! By mosquitoes. Gosh, ain’t they brutal. Both my legs had at least 6 mosquitoes bites each. -.-

Located at Resort World Sentosa, Waterfront, which means we can watch the 2-swans-spraying-water show! LOL! Okok, I am just being lame because I don’t know the real name of that show but it was quite fascinating how they create such art piece. :)

Last but not least, I love the fireworks that day even though I didn’t manage to snap any decent photos of it. *sad face*

Korean-ish

Super backlogged post (2 months ago) for Yaqi’s 21st Birthday with DVFX ppl. Yay for July babies!~

We went to this Korean Restaurant called Kko Kko Nara Korean Restaurant at Tanjong Pagar. Even LadyIronChef recommends it!

We ordered Kimchi Jigae (Kimchi soup/stew), lok lok (it’s like yong tau foo but you can’t get to choose each individual ingredients) and their signature dish: Korean Fried Chicken!!!

Even though it looks Korean, it is actually being managed by PRC staffs (?) and somehow, they did not really know what we were ordering at first when we said it in English. *frowns*

Still, the food was great. No wonder the whole cosy place were buzzing with lots of people during dinner.

Kko Kko Nara Korean Restaurant
57 Tras Street #01-01 Singapore
Tel: +65 6224 8186

And then we moved on to TOM N TOMS Coffee, which is also a Korean cafe.

I love the interior design and the atmosphere of the whole café! Like Starbucks, they are more famous for their coffee but I personally love their Ice Milk Tea (image below) and Smoothie Strawberry since I am not a fan of coffee at all.

You know usually Singapore’s version of smoothie contains milk, but TOM N TOMS‘ smoothie contains yogurt instead. It somehow tastes like Yakult.  Very unique, right?

The reason why we were at these 2 Korean stores was because Yaqi is the most enthusiastic Korean/KPOP fan ever!

Check out her online store with loads of superb Korean products and KPOP merchandises here -> http://www.asianpoppinmuffins.blogspot.com/

PSP Chalet 2011 – How We Celebrate Earth Hour!

It was our annual Passing Down and Graduating ceremony at the annual chalet again!

Just nice that it was Earth Hour 2011 (26th March 2011) that day too when we are encouraged to off our lights for an hour for energy saving and to create awareness, but it doesn’t really matters to us because we were all busy eating and barbequing during that hour. Fun, isn’t it?

Time flies whenever I am with these awesome people. <3 them loads! ^^

Busy days

Unlike the usual students who are having exams during this period, I have been quite busy with quite a number of events recently and it was (and still is) exhausting yet fulfilling. From school to blogging to personal events… BUSY BUSY BUSY! I don’t even have time to do a presentable entry for a blog contest (1st prize: Canon S95 <- MY DREAM COMPACT CAM!!!).

Projects are building up and it seems like my motivation level is draining away. The development process is especially failed. :/ Anyway, the images below are for my character design, yet to finalized. Oh man. *facepalm*

Oh, and for those who are following my twitter. I have been talking about going to my bestie’s 21st Birthday and I even specially made a humongous guestbook as per request for her despite my crazy schedule. SEE! I AM SO NICE! Hahahahaha… A sneak preview of the guestbook:

Even though I sorta become a bad friend for not being able to sleepover at her birthday chalet tonight (I mean, yesterday night since it’s 1:33AM) and I won’t be able to be there for the whole day tomorrow (today) since I have to cover another blogging event… :/

Sigh.

When there’s too much events going on, my brain goes dead. Oh well. I WILL SURVIVE!!!
