Do stay tuned and look out for the giveaway at the end of the post if you loved Thai food!
Thai food lovers unite! How many of you have been looking for an authentic Thai restaurant in Singapore since forever? You might want to try Jai Thai. There’s 3 branches in Singapore, at Purvis Street, East Coast and Clover Way currently. The one that I went with the bloggers is located at Purvis Street, in between City Hall and Bugis MRT stations. But I personally feel that it’s nearer to Bugis MRT, where you could walk straight towards the NLB direction. :)

You cannot imagine how much food we had stuffed ourselves with, but with such a feast in front of you, how can you resist not eating them? Though not all the Thai dishes were perfect, I do have my favourite dishes to recommend! Like their tang hoon and tom yum soup! SLURPS!~ Super delicious and savory! <3
Since I had never tried lemon grass drinks before, I ordered this lemon grass drink ($2.50) under their Thai Drinks Special, but uh… I didn’t quite like the taste of it. The others look pretty happy with their coconut drink (with real coconut shells) so maybe you guys should try that instead. Haha.
But anyway, didn’t I just mention about the baked prawn tang hoon (S$12, Thai’s version of vermicelli) is really yummy? It was a little wet and clumps together but I love it nonetheless!
The taste would cover all the flaws of the texture. Flavored well with the seafood and sauce, I simply can’t stop eating this and I even thought of getting take away despite my exploding stomach.
Oh, this Pandan Chicken (S$2/pc) is another of their speciality. Everyone loves it.
I must admit that they are really good in marinating, the crispy outer skin and the juicy marinated meat is a great combination. The size is around half of my palm, quite a reasonable portion so it wasn’t so sinful when I ate this.
Beef noodles (S$5 to 10, depends on portion) is delicious too, but the meat is not as tender as I thought it would be (I think I am spoilt by Hong Lam Beef Noodles but then again, Chinese and Thai food taste pretty differently). Love the soup base with the noodles, not too thick, not too bland.
AND YAY!!!!!!! MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE OF THE DAY! Tom Yum Seafood Soup (S$5 to 10, depends on portion)!
Don’t be deceived by its clear soup base! It is really SPICY but with a little sweetness from the seafood. Despite the spiciness, I really love how refreshing and appetizing this soup is! It is the kind of food that I wouldn’t mind eating it everyday or after every meal because it clears the other strong tastes in my mouth and makes me feel refreshed and less bloated. ^^
Fried Chicken with Cashew Nut isn’t half bad but if I had to choose between this and Pandan Chicken, I would prefer the latter more. This dish tastes a little more Chinese, probably because it has less spices in it? I don’t know.

I personally have no whelms over the olive rice sets as it tastes unique but still acceptable while the others don’t seem to quite like the rice choice. Other than that, the side dishes in this rice set is pretty yummy too.
Pineapple rice set is really economical and delicious. I would personally recommend this, especially because there’s pandan chicken in the side dish too.
